Valuing sheep's wool by learning felting techniques

Felted wool workshops — basic felting techniques for making 3D objects. Felted wool, a material in its own right.

Felting, an ancestral textile technique, allows for very contemporary creations, both in material and in colour, volume and diversity of shape. Starting out as loose fibres, carded wool gradually takes shape through felting: the fibres intertwine to become matter, fingers tame it, sculpt it, the colour deepens, and the alchemy of felting takes hold.

A simple technique that requires energy, focus and creativity. Our workshops are open to everyone, young and old.
